Welcome to There & Back Tours

 Why "There & Back" ? When I was a child, spending time with my grandparents, I used to ask my Granddad, "where are we going?" to which he would always reply "There and back again to see how far it is!"  This encapsulated a spirit of adventure which I have kept with me and the recent  pandemic  has inspired me to start this company for like minded people. My Dad and my Grandad both loved to travel well into their retirement years, much the way I hope to do.

Our minds don't stop discovering new things, this keeps us healthy and engaged with the world around us. There are new crafts and activities (see my workshops page) and places to discover with stories to tell (see my day tours page).  Above all, our need for friendship and company has become all important after the freedom we all took for granted was taken away.   This range of workshops, day tours and events welcome everyone, from groups to individuals.  Have a browse, tell your friends and make some plans in your social calendar.  We look forward to seeing you soon.
