Time now to explore the compact city centre. Take in the Medieval "Rows" and the Roman walls and amphitheatre as you wander around the picturesque streets. Dont forget to look out for the Eastgate Clock!

Historic Cheshire
Group Day Trip
This is the perfect tour for those who enjoy heritage, history and scenery! Cheshire is a leafy rural county with long links to the industrial revolution and iconic builgings. Begin your day with a tour of the fascinating Little Moreton Hall, a Tudor hall with charmingly crooked architecture surrounded by a moat, deep in the Cheshire countryside.
On then to the charming hamlet of Astbury for your lunch at the local Inn. The setting is perfect, opposite the striking church and right on the village green which is noted for its ancient oak tree.
TAfter lunch you will head over to Knutsford, another charming Cheshire town with lots of historic buildings and cobbled streets. While away your afternoon enjoying the many independent boutiques and tea rooms, you may spot someone rich and famous!

How to book your
group day trip
Important information
Simply telephone us on 07748 962670 or use our enquiry form to advise which day trip you are interested in and your preferred date, with a reserve date just in case. We will then check availability of our guides and meal stops
and will get back to you where possible within 48 hours.
Once we confirm your booking in writing, we will request a £100 non refundable deposit to secure the date for your group. Bookings that are not secured with a deposit cannot be guaranteed and may be cancelled.
Payment for day trips
Full cleared payment is required 4 weeks before your travel date. Debit or Credit cards or bank transfers (Credit cards are subject to a 2.25% handling charge where applicable.) Sorry, we can't accept personal cheques.
Cancellation deadlines for day trip bookings have to be made in writing up to 5 weeks before travel. At this time, you can transfer your deposit once only to another booking for your group within 6 months. You may be liable for any costs we have been committed to pay.
If you cancel up to 2 weeks before you are due to travel, you will receive a full refund less your deposit of £100 and any costs we have been committed to pay in advance. We are unable to refund any monies for trips cancelled less than 2 weeks before travel.
Cancellation Charges
In some circumstances, there may be cancellation charges payable for trips cancelled within 4 weeks of travel. For example some hotels and guides apply cancellation charges if bookings are cancelled less than 4 weeks prior to travel. Please check with us when you receive your confirmation.
Reduced numbers for day trips
In most cases we can offer a refund for any passengers who are unable to travel, provided that you have more thanthe stated minimum number for your day trip and that you notify us more than 48 hours before you are due to travel. The refund will be less any costs we have been committed to pay. Refunds will be processed after travel
