Time: 10.30 am Bolton Art Gallery and Museum
Bolton Museum and Art Gallery has something for everyone. You will enjoy tea or coffee on arrival, then a guided tour of the museum and gallery by the curator of Archeology, Egyptology and World Cultures. Bolton’s collection of ancient Egyptian material is arguably one of the most important in a British local authority museum and numbers around 12,000 objects from over 65 sites in Egypt. You can also visit the aquarium and art collections.
1.00pm Lunch at Olympus Fish and Chip Restaurant
Only a few minutes drive away, Olympus is an award winning fish and chip restaurant in the heart of Bolton. Here you will enjoy a plate of Olympus' famous fish and chips served with tea or coffee.
Sing along afternoon at Olympus
Once you have enjoyed your lunch, you will be able to sit back and relax as you are entertained by the resident pianist. Listen to many popular favourites then sing or dance along!

Time: 10.30 am Haworth Art Gallery, Accrington.
Haworth Art Gallery is Lancashire’s finest Arts & Crafts house and garden. It was designed by the architect, Walter Brierley and houses the internationally important Tiffany Glass Museum. “The pursuit of beauty”was the declared aim of Louis Comfort Tiffany which resulted in world reknown irridescent style of glass pieces we recognise today. Enjoy morning coffee while you listen to an introduction to the museum.

Nestled in the heart of the picturesque conservation village of Worston, The Calf’s Head Inn is a country restaurant with a great reputation for excellent food and friendly service. Relax on board your coach as your expert guide conducts a short highlights of the local countryside en route to your next stop.
3.00pm Whalley Village
Nestled at the foot Whalley Nab, alongside the River Calder, lies the village of Whalley. It's a place steeped in history, rural charm andnatural beauty. Along the main street and cobbled side alleys there are numerous small and independent shops and bistros, just waiting to be discovered. Whalley's most famous sight is Whalley Abbey, dating back to the 14th Century when it was a Cistercian abbey.

10.30am Meet your guide.
Your guide will meet you at Huntley’s Country Stores in Samlesbury. There will be an opportunity to buy a coffee before your tour begins.
11.15am Whalley
Perched on the banks of the River Calder, Whalley in the Ribble Valley is the largest district in Lancashire. This is a charming village, filled with historic buildings, characterful shops and lovely cafes and restaurants.

2.30pm Countryside tour
The village of Downham in the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty lies at the foot of Pendle Hill, close to the thriving market town of Clitheroe. It is often hailed as the most beautiful village in Lancashire. You then travel on past the tranquil ruins of the 12th century Sawley Abbey ,over the Pendle Hills, before finally descending back down to Sabden village, notorious for being the home of the Pendle witches.
3.30pm Pendle Heritage Centre.
End your tour of mystery and magic with a visit to Pendle Heritage Centre, housing the Pendle Witches Museum. The museum showcases the history and archaeology of the Park Hill farmstead, Vernacular buildings of Pendle Forest, Conservation work of Heritage Trust for the North-West as well as the story of the Pendle Witches, George Fox and the Quakers. Once the spell is lifted, board your coach for the journey home.

Simply telephone us on 07748 962670 or use our enquiry form to advise which day trip you are interested in and your preferred date, with a reserve date just in case. We will then check availability of our guides and meal stops
and will get back to you where possible within 48 hours.
Once we confirm your booking in writing, we will request a £100 non refundable deposit to secure the date for your group. Bookings that are not secured with a deposit cannot be guaranteed and may be cancelled.
Payment for day trips
Full cleared payment is required 4 weeks before your travel date. Debit or Credit cards or bank transfers. Sorry, we can't accept personal cheques.
Cancellation deadlines for day trip bookings have to be made in writing up to 5 weeks before travel. At this time, you can transfer your deposit once only to another booking for your group within 6 months. You may be liable for any costs we have been committed to pay.
If you cancel up to 2 weeks before you are due to travel, you will receive a full refund less your deposit of £100 and any costs we have been committed to pay in advance. We are unable to refund any monies for trips cancelled less than 2 weeks before travel.
Cancellation Charges
In some circumstances, there may be cancellation charges payable for trips cancelled within 4 weeks of travel. For example some hotels and guides apply cancellation charges if bookings are cancelled less than 4 weeks prior to travel. Please check with us when you receive your confirmation.
Reduced numbers for day trips
In most cases we can offer a refund for any passengers who are unable to travel, provided that you have more thanthe stated minimum number for your day trip and that you notify us more than 48 hours before you are due to travel. The refund will be less any costs we have been committed to pay. Refunds will be processed after travel
